MAC performs R&D for proof-of-concept technology demonstrations and development of one-of-a-kind hardware/software systems that are not in
conflict with MAC's SE&TA services business areas. These technology projects have varied considerably and have included such items as the development of a down-hole well video logging tool, the development of a
nano-G seismically stable test platform for evaluating 4th generation guidance gyros, development of subsea cable burial vehicles to R&D in smart fiber optic sensors for use in large composite aircraft structures.
MAC also continues to develop as-needed custom test and measurement instruments for the direct support of various independent Test and Evaluation project needs.
